Santa’s Goodies (Chocolate Chip Tea Cake Recipe)


Chocolate Chip Tea Cakes
1 cup butter, softened
1/2 cup powdered sugar
1 teaspoon vanilla
2 cups flour
2/3 cup chopped nuts
1 1/2 cups chocolate chips
Beat butter and powdered sugar until combined; beat in vanilla. Gradually beat in flour and nuts. Stir in chocolate chips. Roll dough into 1 inch balls.

Bake on ungreased sheet at 350 degrees F for 10 to 12 minutes. Cool 2 minutes on sheet, then remove to a wire rack to cool completely.

Makes about 40 cookies
